Join our Software Team within Pre-Commissioning & Maintenance (P&M)
You will be working on software applications for life cycle project management within the Energy Technology sector. Our team develops high performing, scaling, innovative applications.
We collaborate with system engineers, product owners and subject matter experts to create unique products. You will participate in the Baker Hughes Software Alliance community such as UX Design, Data Science, Agile Practitioners.

• Scope for training on new and existing technologies
As a Software Developer (Full Stack), you will be responsible for:
• Developing exceptional applications for our business
• Writing clean, scalable code using C#/Type Script programming languages
• Developing end-to-end applications using Angular/.net
• High level autonomy, with support when needed
• Developing technical interfaces, specifications, and architecture with strong attention to detail
• Working side by side with technical experts with input into the specification, design and implementation process
• Applying software development life-cycle principles and methodologies such as Agile and Kanban, to continuously improve our code and processes
• Improving code quality and deployment processes, enhancing CI/CD pipelines

To be successful in this role you will:
• Have a Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering or a related Technology discipline or show equivalent, demonstrable work experience
• Demonstrate experience with Back-End development frameworks such as C# / .net
• Demonstrate experience with Front-End development frameworks such as Angular, React, Vue
• Have experience of working in an agile environment and knowledge of Continuous Integration and Deployment
• Have excellent communication and presentation skills, be a team player
• Displaying knowledge of Relational/NoSQL databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Cosmos DB is advantageous
• Showing experience in developing Object-Oriented software using standard practices such as unit testing is advantageous
• Displaying knowledge of tooling such as Git and GitHub, and cloud services is advantageous
