The Role: Software Developer I
S&P Global Market Intelligence, a best-in-class sector-focused news and financial information provider, is looking for a Software Developer to join our Software Development team.

Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for
• Solve problems, analyze and isolate issues.
• Design, deploy and maintain Enterprise Web Applications.
• Work to develop and maintain data standards: processing, documentation, and metadata.
• Build solutions to develop/support key business needs.
• Collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical partners.
• Continuously improve and develop quality code.
What We’re Looking For
• Bachelor’s degree and equivalent course work in Computer Science or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in application development using Microsoft Technologies. Preferred experience with .Net and .Net Core.
• Experience in C# Development
• Experience in PL/SQL, T-SQL, SQL
• Microsoft Based Technologies: operating systems and platforms (C# .NET), application servers (IIS), and architecture. Visual Studio
• Ability to clearly communicate technical ideas, whether to other technical peers or non-technical project manager.
• Web application development abilities
• Strong Mathematical skills
• Excellent understanding of OO concepts
• Comfortable working in team-based environment.
• Creative, flexible and results oriented approach to problem solving.
• Dependency Injection
• Familiarity with frameworks such as - ReactJS ; Durandaljs ; Backbonejs ; Knockoutjs ; Bootstrapjs
• Experience with Cloud Development is an add-on.
