Position Summary:
The software developer Codes solutions for simple to moderate complexity Agile feature, tasks and sub-tasks per requirements and design specifications provided.
Deliverables and Performance Measures
• Writes Unit test plans and demonstrates code coverage.
• Debugs and resolves simple and moderate complexity software bugs or issues independently.
• Instruments code per standards for observability.
• Participate in code reviews and learn how the code will be executed to ensure requirements are met.
• Documenting and updating code changes clearly.
• Achieves OKRs related to velocity, burndown, defect management and achieving quality metrics as established by the team leader of the pod.
What will make you successful:
• 1-3 years’ experience in software development, with ability to understand coding standards and design standards.
• Experience working with other developers and software engineers and translate requirements and design specifications to executable code and be able to fix bugs.
• An understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle is preferred
• Entry level development skills required
• Familiarity with rules engines and XML is preferred
• Familiarity with C# is preferred
