Software Developer / Cloud Developer, £45K - £60K, Leicestershire & work from home

Are you a Software Developer or Cloud Developer or Software Developer looking for a role with lots of flexibility – work from home most of the time (if you prefer) and flexible working hours. We are looking for a Software Developer / Cloud Developer with a TypeScript / Angular software background. The company develop and produce industry leading data acquisition, automation and data management software platforms and applications used within engineering research and development environments. Your background as a Software Developer / Cloud Developer:
• Experience of TypeScript / Angular.
• Microservice architectures and REST interfaces.
• Docker and containers.
• Object Orientated Programming / UML.
• You will be degree qualified in a software, engineering, scientific or similar technical discipline.
• Experience or familiarity with agile software development process and tools (SCRUM, Kanban etc…). Your Software Developer / Cloud Developer role will involve:
• Software design and software development of user interfaces, software components, web applications, server coding, docker images and services in a microservices environment.
• Validation and verification testing of application code.
• Working within an agile software development environment.
• You will be working in a truly global business so will have the opportunity to work collaboratively on software development projects with teams across several countries using the latest collaboration tech.
