About the role:
The Machine Learning Platform (MLP) team is responsible for developing systems and tools that enable the development and deployment of machine learning solutions to a large fleet of autonomous robots around the world. This includes supporting all stages of the machine learning lifecycle, from data acquisition and transformation, to deployment and monitoring, and collaborating with other teams on model development and training.
You will join a small team with the opportunity to have a large impact on the technical decisions and development of large-scale machine learning initiatives that will shape the next-generation of commercial robotics.
How you will make a difference:
• Design, develop, and test data transformation pipelines operating on large amounts of structured and unstructured data.
• Deploy and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure that support machine learning and data engineering workloads.
• Collaborate with members of various functional teams to scope, explore, prototype, and implement solutions.
Required Skills & Experience:
• BE / B.Tech or higher degree in Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent
• 5+ years of professional software development experience (Python, C++ preferred)
• Experience building large-scale data transformation pipelines with technologies such as Apache Spark, Amazon S3, Dagster, and Airflow
• Hands-on experience designing scalable infrastructure for machine learning applications
• Experience with cloud services such as Amazon Web Services, and familiarity with tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform
• Knowledge of best practices in modern software development, such as git
• Proficiency with Linux-based operating systems
Nice to Have:
• Experience with Robot Operating System (ROS)
• Experience working with a global team
