Position Title: Software Developer
The Area:
Morningstar RPS is a content management system that helps Morningstar analysts in generating and managing variety of manager research, equity and thematic content. This provides comprehensive coverage of global stock markets from as early as 1+75. Our data features proprietary statistics and is developed using stringent quality screens to ensure accuracy. All this content is delivered securely using various delivery channels like API, real time streaming, Data Lake etc.
Role: In this Role
You will work in the agile environment and collaborate with team leader, scrum master, project manager and developers to build and enhance Content management platform.
You will be utilizing Microsoft's .NET infrastructure along with AWS cloud services to create software solutions that are flexible, scalable and secured.
You will we reformulating existing code to ensure adherence to stipulated guidelines.
You will be working with the team for routine maintenance and development of in-house software products.
You will be participating in scheduled deployments and supporting consumer queries.
Responsibilities:
Design & develop web and enterprise solutions to be flexible, scalable & extensible.
Hands-on development will be an integral part of the responsibilities.
Follow good development practices, innovative frameworks and technology solutions that help business move faster.
Follow best practices like estimation, planning, reporting and improvement brought to processes in everyday work.
Participation in full life-cycle system development with teams of developers, analysts, and testers.
Requirements:
2-3 yrs of hands-on experience in .Net technologies. Asp.Net, C#, MS MVC.
Good knowledge on OO design and their applicability.
Very Strong knowledge of databases- complex queries, stored procedure a must. Experience with MS SQL a big plus.
Understanding of the concepts of CI/CD.
Good to have knowledge of cloud technologies. AWS is preferred.
Good to have Experience on front end technologies. Vue.Js is prefered
Good to have Experience on working on .net core framework.
Good listening, written and verbal communication skills. Leadership qualities.
