JOB DESCRIPTION
Position: Software Developer
Minimum Experience: 3 – 4 Years
Reporting to: Head of Tech Initiatives
Location: Mumbai
Key Responsibilities:
– Work closely with the business intelligence team to understand the data needs / requirements of the organization and implement and support SSIS packages to fulfil those needs.
– Design and develop SQL Server stored procedures, functions, views and triggers to be used during the ETL process and other applications like Power BI, Web portal, Mobile Applications
– Designing and developing SSIS /SSRS / SQL ETL solutions to acquire and prepare data from numerous upstream systems for processing
– Build data transformations with SSIS including importing data from files, moving data from one database platform to another
– Debug and tune SSIS or other ETL processes to ensure accurate and efficient movement of data
– Design, implement and maintain database objects (tables, views, indexes, ) and database security
– Analyse and develop strategies and approaches to import and transfer data between source, staging, and ODS/Data Warehouse destinations
– Test and prepare ETL processes for deployment to production and non-production environments
– Support system and acceptance testing including the development or refinement of test plans
Skills and Experience Requirements:
– Experience working with SSIS packages
– Must be very good in SQL, Performance Tuning
– Candidate should be any graduate in Computer Science or related degree program
