Software Engineer
The Engineering Tool team is backbone of the Nexteer engineering software development teams. We develop specialty software tools, create automation, support on Application life cycle management (ALM) tool chain and aggregate data to dashboards to bring the information to a conclusive state.
The tools are developed in the areas of automotive protocols, web interface Automotive CAN interfaces protocols.
We are results driven, highly motivated, quality focused and can work within a high performing team. The Product’s technology includes C#.Net, WPF, WinForms, NuGet, Python, SQL., and much more.
Education:
Bachelor - Computer/Software Engineering (Required)
Master - Computer/Software Engineering (Preferred)
Min. Years Required: 4 - 6yrs.

Software engineer (Trainee to Lead)
Job Description:
• Design, code and test new Winforms/WPF software applications.
• Manage and Review specification development by analyzing requirements, reviewing program specifications, and the architect the applications.
• Maintain timelines, provide regular status reports, provide presentation and communicate with stakeholders.
• Work with various application program teams and core teams to coordinate and prioritize activities.
• Analyze the feasibility of Change / modifications / enhancements to new and existing applications to increase operating efficiency and / or adapt to new requirements and other Change / Synergy.
• Train and mentor new skills and technologies to all the software teams.
• Ability to work independent as well as a team player and take self-initiatives.
• Follow and document Automotive Aspice certification standards for the teams and projects.
• Review release items for standards and requirements.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills (English)
• Ability to work well in a team environment
Preferred skills:
• Must have skills in C#.Net,Winforms and WPF and SQL.
• Preferred to have Work Experience in .NET core.
• Used at least Git / Azure DevOps as Source Code Management Tool.
• Worked on Agile-SCRUM / DevOps.
• Document requirements, design patterns with UML.
• Good to have knowledge of automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Flex ray).
• Good to have knowledge in AUTOSAR architecture.
• Communicate and document with stakeholders both internal and external
