Job Summary
The India-based Company AstroScience Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is a branch of the renowned institution GD Vashist Jyotish Sansthan. AstroScience is a leading worldwide Astrology consultancy and service-product provider. It has its head office in Udyog Vihar, Gurugram (Gurgaon), Haryana, India.
Responsibilities and Duties
1. Develop full stack components for a complex and large-scale cloud application, in a
microservice architecture.
2. Work on Front End stack (React or similar) and Back end (Node js) components.
3. Ability to understand and take responsibility of the existing components (in Java,
JavaScript, Go and Python) in system
4. Ensure high quality product by writing & executing manual and automated tests
5. Implement automatic deployment to cloud environment using CI/CD tools
6. Add monitoring and alerts to make sure the component is performing well on live
or production environment
7. Troubleshoot incidents on live customer deployments and supporting customers
Required Skills & Knowledge
1. Senior Software Engineering or BE/BSc in Computer Science
2. At least 2+ years of experience with React (or similar), Nodes/Java and Python
(Exceptional university graduates can also apply)
3. Excellent problem-solving skills
4. Experience in developing, testing, and deploying full stack components
5. System design skills and microservices experience
6. Proven technical skills and self-learning ability, capable of thoroughly
understanding the functional and technical aspects of a complex system
7. Experience working on large scale deployments on AWS is a must
8. Experience with mongo, bash, docker, K8S, ELK are all pluses
+. Experience working with Git (or similar) is a plus
10. Experience working with Monitoring tools like Grafana, Prometheus is a plus
11. Experience working in SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) architecture is a plus.
12. Ability to thrive in a multi-task environment with frequently changing priorities
under tight timelines
13. A real team player and independent learner can do approach
14. Great communication and interpersonal skill
15. The desire to learn and improve constantly
16. Knowledge of Agile Software Development Methodology
