Job Description
The Center for Internet Augmented Research and Assessment (CIARA) at Florida International University is seeking highly motivated undergraduate or graduate students to participate in National Science Foundation sponsored projects.
This opportunity allows students to gain exposure to novel networking and network automation development concepts and techniques, as well as experience supporting research projects that benefit institutions.
Apart from gaining technical expertise, students will also develop strong oral and written communication skills, making them an asset to any organization.
Responsibilities
Assist in software development, DevOps, and scalability projects.
Contribute to the development of new technologies and innovative solutions.
Support the CIARA team in their mission to advance research and education.
Requirements
Current undergraduate students in a computer science, engineering, or networking related curriculum.
FIU students majoring in CS/IT or students with a minor in CS/IT.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C, and JavaScript.
Familiarity with Linux operating systems and shell scripting.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
