Your Role and Responsibilities
Throughout your career, youll work as part of a diverse team to support our clients as they use our systems to outthink the competition. Youll learn the fundamentals of Azure data platform as a Data Engineer. As a Data Engineer you will create means to gathers and collect the data, store it, do batch processing or real-time processing on it, and serves it to applications who can easily query it. You will provide support for data management and ETL for one or more projects; assist in defining scope and sizing of work; and work on Proof-of-Concept development as you learn deeper in technology. You will collaborate with some of the best talent in the industry to create and implement innovative high-quality solutions. Our program will give you the opportunity to build your skills to grow your career as a Data Engineer in cloud ETLs. Required Technical and Professional Expertise
3 years of experience with following skills
Good hands-on experience in SQL
Good experience in Data Modelling techniques
Good experience in design & implementation of Enterprise Data Warehouse solutions
Hands-on expertise in at least 1 projects (ETL) on Azure synapse, Databricks and Azure Data Factory
Experience in ETL technologies (in more than 1 area amongst Informatica, DataStage, SAS, Azure Data Factory, Talend, Matillion)
Experience in BI technologies (in more than 1 areas amongst Cognos, BO, Power BI, Tableau)
Experience in Database (in one or more amongst Teradata, Exadata, Netezza, Oracle)
Meta Data Management and Data Governance Experience
Hand on experience in Python, Scala, Spark, Kafka
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
Familiar with Azure/AWS cloud technology stack
Familiarity with CI/CD processes
Enterprise Containerization technologies e.g., Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift etc.
Understanding of TDD (Test Driven Development)
Any UI technologies (Angular, React etc)
