Job Description
The successful candidate will be
• Big Data engineer having extensive coding experience in Java and other high level programming languages like Python or Scala. He/She should be able to work well within a product based organization (product mind set) and with the team comprising of developers & functional experts on a critical customer facing product.
• Should have handled one e2e implementation of creating data pipeline and have optimized performance on Big Data Platform.
• Should have handled one e2e implementation and hosting of product built on microservices based architecture.
• Autonomous, motivated and self-driven.
• Customer focused and flexible.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review.
• Ready to work with DevOps mindset with other engineers.
Technical Skill:
• 6 years to + years of experience in analysis, design, development, documentation, implementing and testing of software products using Java and Big data tech stacks
• At least 3-4 years of working with Big Data Tech stacks: Apache Hadoop, Kafka, Spark, Hive, Flume, Sqoop, PostGres, resource managers/orchestrator, kubernetes, oozie, airflow etc
• Sound knowledge of Relational and Transactional databases (OLAP, OLTP).
• Hands on experience with NoSQL Data using MongoDB/Cassandra/HBase etc.
• Hands on experience in designing and developing Java Microservices.
• Sound Knowledge of OOPs concepts (Class loading, Memory Management, Transaction management, Multithreading, Garbage collection, Performance optimization), Data structures, Design Patterns.
• Experience in working with High level Programming languages like Python, Scala, R is a plus.
• Sound experience with Streaming data using Apache Kafka and processing it real time with optimum performance. Experience in Messaging architecture using MQ is a plus.
• Databricks, Datamart, Datawarehousing, Azure Stack knowledge are good to have.
• Designing and developing high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems and delivering high-availability and performance.
