Job Description
Serverless Computing at Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a fast-growing service that has become the default compute infrastructure for a wide range of applications. We are seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer to join our Serverless Compute Networking team, which owns software at the core of SCF's architecture and enables customers to run serverless functions in Virtual Private Cloud.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of software development with Linux and networking concepts, as well as experience analyzing large amounts of data from multiple sources within a distributed network. This individual will be responsible for translating business and functional requirements into concrete deliverables, including the architecture, design, development, testing, and deployment of highly scalable distributed services.

Basic Qualifications
3+ years of professional software development experience
2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Experience programming with at least one software programming language
Preferred Qualifications
Strong hands-on ability to write secure, reliable & maintainable code in Go, Rust, Java, or C+
Excellent communication skills with ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced development environment.
Graduate degree (MS/PhD) in Computer Sciences or related technical field
