Software Development Engineer II

The mission of competitive analysis team is to provide best-in-class competitive insights to the internal product teams and help them prioritize and beat the competition in various global markets. The role will provide an opportunity to be part of an important and priority workstream, and work with other developers and products analyst to build automated solutions through web scrapping. The role will also provide an opportunity to build and lead the pilot project for forecasting and predictive modelling in near future and help the product teams with early warning signals

What you'll do:
• Build automated solutions to scrape data & images from web and app platforms
• Develop tools & techniques related to the various data extraction processes
• Process and compare the extracted data to further refine the output
• Store the extracted data into S3 or similar other destinations
Who you are:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or related field; or equivalent related professional experience
• 2-4 years of Experience in Web Scraping or Crawling through Scrapy, Selenium, Beautiful Soup or any other frameworks and related libraries
• Experience with Java or python scripting
• Demonstrate the working knowledge or project of any past scrapping e-commerce website
• Sound Knowledge in various crawling methods, concepts, and bypassing Bot Detection Techniques
• Good knowledge of Various Databases from RDBMS to SQL
• Web RestFul APIs / Microservices Development Experience
• Experience or passion in building predictive and forecasting analytical models
