All this in a motivating environment that encourages collaboration and stimulates creativity.What You’ll Be DoingWorking on a team alongside other talented developers creating quality software that is used by some of the world’s largest technology firms, fixed income asset managers, and security traders on Wall StreetParticipating in Agile meetings to contribute with development strategies and product roadmapOwning critical processes that are highly available and scalableProducing tremendous feature enhancements and reacting quickly to emerging technologiesEncouraging collaboration and stimulating creativityContributing to design and architectural decisionsProviding leadership and expertise to our ever-growing workforceRequirements5+ years professional experience in software developmentStrong knowledge in Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design and problem solvingFluent in at least one modern programming language such as JavaScript, C#, C++, JavaExperience in communicating with users, other technical teams and management to collect requirements, identify tasks, provide estimates and meet production deadlinesExperience in implementing and consuming large-scale web servicesStrong problem-solving skillsDesired Experience And SkillsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related fieldProficiency using modern web development technologies and techniques, including (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript)Relational database experience (e.g. MSSQL, Oracle, MySQL)Knowledge of professional software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycleExperience in full system design and architectureExperience developing and designing a public facing APIExperience with database scaling and designBenefitsContinual learning and growth opportunitiesBusiness casual atmosphereCompetitive salary and benefits packageClearwater is an equal opportunity employer.
