This is for the Merchant Engineering team, which own the all engineering platform to manage the complete lifecycle of Merchant at Groupon. We pride ourselves in being a Top Engineering Developmental Destination, you’ll enjoy scope, ownership, and impact you will make.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality applications. They will also be responsible for designing and implementing testable and scalable code.

We’re excited about you if you have:
• 5+ years of industry experience
• Excellent coding skills using JavaScript
• At least one full lifecycle web application built with React + Redux & Node JS
• Deep knowledge of web technologies such as Angular, HTML5, CSS (SCSS, LESS), JSON, Object-oriented JavaScript
• Expertise in building scalable server applications and reusable modules in the Node eco-system
• Experience with build tools such as Ant, Ivy, Maven, Griddle
• Strong debugging skills
• Good communication and collaboration skills
