Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced engineer to join our team as a Manufacturing Systems Engineering under Prod-Ops. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software solutions that improve the speed and quality of testing of satellite components.
Key Responsibilities:
Participate in all phases of software development from requirements through implementation and test
Engage with cross-disciplinary staff to conceive and design solutions
Work with cross-functional partner teams and lead efforts with engineers from requirements to deployment
Lead efforts in creating test simulations and integrations with industry-standard tools and equipment such as Test Stand and Labview
Required Skills and Qualifications:
5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience (Preference for C++, Python)
5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
