Software Development Engineer II
Summary
We are looking for an Architect who is eager to work with us in co-creating the universe of amazing social games. The candidate will technically lead the Center of Excellence Team with his/her expertise and excellence. Would be responsible for team’s technical depth, self-sustainability, and growth.
As an individual contributor, candidate needs to be technology agnostic. Ready to work on latest technology if required.
The candidate should have R&D mindset and resourceful enough to work on any phase of the Research and Development.
What You'll Do
• In Depth knowledge of C++ Application Development Environment.
• Candidate should have at least 8 years of hands-on experience in C/C++ Language.
• Hands on experience with a Scripting Language preferably JS/TS for at least two years.
• Expert in Architecture and Design.
• Hands on experience with Library Development.
• Efficiently can handle C++ and Web Technology Game Development.
• Good to have experience with Google Cloud, Jenkins, Mobile Game Development.
• Should be Language and Technology Agnostic.
• Lead the Core Technology Team.
• Candidate should be resourceful with R&D Mindset.
• Working as a role model on any critical problem at the critical juncture of time
• Deep sense of owning your work and prioritizing business and team goals ahead of your self interest
• Interacting with global stakeholders on periodic/regular basis for understanding changing project requirements and accommodating that by clearly analyzing change, evaluating time required to change and help ship game in estimated timelines.
• Provide expertise and help team members with technical guidance throughout SDLC and ensure on-time delivery of high-quality products
• Help team to unblock from any critical problem
• Provide coaching, training and mentor your peers and team.
• Work closely with leads/managers locally and globally in planning and execution by communicating complexity and time estimates.
• Peer code review.
What We're Looking For
• 10 to 12 years of work experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MCA, or related field
• Experience in gaming domain is a plus
