About the role:
You will be responsible for developing Android apps which changes the way parking industry operates. You will design, develop, and implement new ideas and products from scratch. You will be interfacing with the server side engineering team to scale out our apps across thousands of users.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain advanced Android applications using Kotlin/Java.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following best practices.
Work on performance optimization and bug fixing to improve application performance.
Integrate with backend APIs and third-party libraries.
Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application.
Manage app releases and updates to Google Play Store.
Maintain documentation for code and processes.
Required Skills:
1–3 years of hands-on experience in Android app development.
Proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java.
Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
Experience with MVVM/MVP, Jetpack components, Room, LiveData, DataBinding.
Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
Good knowledge of Git and version control systems.
Experience with third-party libraries and APIs (e.g., Retrofit, Glide, Firebase).
Mandatory skills: MVVM, Kotlin, Java
