Software Development Engineer (3P Developer Analytics)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer to build and enhance 3P Developer Analytics products in our fast-growing Appstore organization. You will design and develop scalable, high-performance analytics products that provide third-party developers with actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities
Drive architecture and technology choices for a world-class experience for Appstore 3P developers
Develop and maintain systems processing and surfacing insights in near real-time for timely decision making
Cross-functional collaboration with Data Engineers, Product Managers, and BIEs to enhance product capabilities and improve developer adoption
Raise quality standards, conduct code reviews, and ensure robust engineering standards for developer-facing products
Utilize various metrics sources to deliver rapid iterations of software features
Be a champion for the user: Insist on high standards, create functional and engaging features, and prioritize their needs
Requirements
5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
3+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
Experience programming with at least one software programming language
Experience contributing to the architecture and design of new and current systems
Hands-on experience with databases (SQL and NoSQL) and data processing frameworks
Experience building customer-facing analytics or reporting products
Knowledge of professional software engineering best practices
Prior experience working with third-party developers, APIs, and developer platforms
Strong understanding of security and data privacy best practices
