Senior DevOps Engineer
Exxat is a US-headquartered company that builds an integrated, cloud-based, education management platform for Health Sciences. We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to design and operate our cloud environment and associated processes.
Key responsibilities
Understand Exxat’s technology requirements and vision
Design cloud infrastructure and operations that optimize reliability, delivery speed and cost
Enable high scale, availability, and performance.
CI/CD
Automation
Monitoring, logging and altering.
Configuration management
Infrastructure security
Incident management, RCAs etc.
Business continuity
Project/delivery management
Infrastructure vendor management
Stakeholder management
Documentation
Minimum skills & qualifications
Computer Science or another technical degree from a top institution
5+ years relevant experience
Excellent understanding of modern software engineering and distributed computing
Expertise in 1 or more major cloud platforms (Azure preferred)
Linux, scripting, Docker, Kubernetes, microservices operations etc.
Infrastructure as code(Terraform preferred)
Expertise in application and infrastructure monitoring
Maturity, ability to operate under pressure and good communication.
Planning and delivery management
Effective and fast decision making and execution.
