Read on to learn more.Your challengeAs a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET), you build and support automation frameworks, strategize automation solutions, maintain test scripts, and optimize quality.You Are Responsible ForBuilding efficient testing solutions for web and services/APIs, and developing functional testing requirements.Building domain knowledge on supply chain solutions for specific industries, including the chemical, life sciences, and packaging industries.Participating in requirement and architecture/design reviews, focusing on test automation/performance strategy, and ensuring best practices.Participating in functional, system, and regression testingAnalyzing, designing, and developing automation/performance solutions that meet organization standards.Building and integrating reliable, reusable, and maintainable automated regression suites and test harnesses.You collaborate with multiple teams that work in OMP’s offices around the world.Your teamAs our new SDET, you’ll be part of the Quality Assurance team. Quality Assurance identifies and tracks the weak spots in our software. With thorough testing, and a systematic analysis and review of the entire software development cycle, the team oversees, controls, and optimizes our solution’s overall quality.Your profileWe are looking for someone who meets the following qualifications:At least 5-8 years of relevant experience in developing and supporting automation test frameworks from the ground up.Strong automation background to be able to utilize automation strategy and the tools required to build a test framework.Hands-on experience with backend applications such as DB and server-side, using Python/PowerShell scripting.Strong experience with automated testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Robot Framework, Cypress, Junit, Page object model.Experience in refactoring and extending test automation scripts/frameworks and suites as necessary.DB Queries, relational databases, and query building in SQL or Oracle DB.Bonus Points If You HaveExperience with code coverage tools and scale/performance testing tools.The ability to do load and performance testing and drive the load test executions based on business and technical requirements.Testing certifications such as ISTQB or CSTE.Experience with scrum/agile development practices with knowledge of Azure, Azure DevOps, and Behavior Driven Development (BDD) practices.
