Position Overview
We are seeking a proficient Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our dynamic and fast-paced team. The SDET will be responsible for creating and implementing a strategy for quality coordination and testing, as well as suggesting solutions to identified quality problems.
Responsibilities
• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using various technology and tools
• Collaborate with the development team to ensure the software meets quality standards
• Develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business requirements and user stories
• Identify, record, and document thoroughly and track bugs. Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
Minimum Qualifications
• Proven work experience of 2-5 years in software development and software quality assurance
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Hands-on experience with any of the testing frameworks for automating microservices based API's
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
• Ability to derive conclusion from data using various sources
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
• Experience in programming using Java/Javascript/Node JS
• Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject
