Job Description
The software development team maintains our cloud-based FastPost Accounting Hub product. This position is responsible for ensure high quality product delivery through manual and automated testing. This role works closely with the Product Owner, Developers, Support, and Services to understand both the functionality of the product and the usage by the end users. The Software developer Engineer in Test provide the expertise in testing and test coverage to ensure that we exceed our customers’ expectations. This person also works to educate team members of the team on test frameworks, test strategy and quality metrics.

• Ability to ramp up quickly, strong sense of ownership, and a bias for action.
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Strong sense of Quality and significant expertise in testing code (Whitebox, Blackbox, Performance Tests, Load Tests, etc.).
• Understand the business scenarios
• Act like Business Analyst
Technical knowledge
Required
• Core Java
• Selenium
• Jest JS (Nice to have)
• Curiosity about technology and test automation trends
Nice-to-haves
• Familiarity with Linux (Ubuntu, RedHat)
• Shell scripting
• Familiarity with relational databases and SQL
• Familiarity with public clouds such as AWS or Azure
• Familiarity with Hazelcast in-memory data grid
• Junit
• Mockito
Non-technical Skills
• Organised and self-motivated, willing to learn
• Knowledge of financial services, banking or accounting concepts is a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
Qualifications
• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
