Role Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced SDET with a strong background in automation to join our core research labs in India. You will be responsible for independently designing, developing, and maintaining production automation systems, while working closely with research and development teams to ensure seamless and timely daily threat content releases. Prior experience in the cybersecurity domain is preferred.
This is a Hybrid position located in Bangalore. You will be required to be onsite on an as-needed basis, typically 1 to 6 times a month. We are only considering candidates within a commutable distance and are not offering relocation assistance at this time.

About the role
• Independently maintain and enhance production automation systems to support daily content releases with no or minimal downtime.
• Work closely with developer to make test automation framework changes, perform code reviews, and implement test automation best practices.
• Overseeing seamless code rollouts, maintaining production integrity, and spearheading root cause analysis for persistent issues.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve and automate the CI/CD process.
• Drive product quality using industry best practices.
• Use and automate a variety of debugging tools to assist in triage and collecting system information.
About you
• 4–6 years of experience in quality testing and automation, with a strong foundation in Python and automation frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with both Windows and Linux operating systems, along with a solid understanding of system architecture.
• Familiarity with Windows SysInternals tools is an added advantage.
• Experience with daily release operations including build validations, smoke testing, and deployment readiness checks.
• Proficient in version control systems such as Git.
• Exposure to migrating automation frameworks to cloud platforms like GCP, AWS, or Azure for scalable and efficient test execution; knowledge of anti-malware, networking, or cloud-based applications is a plus.
