We’re currently looking for SDE-III/IV - Backend (Webinar) - Bengaluru
One of our company's products is online meetings. We enhance the capabilities of traditional meetings through AI by generating subtitles and translations for speeches in multiple languages. After the meeting concludes, we generate a summary of the meeting and identify the most important moments to make it easy for users to navigate past meetings. All of this should be available 24/7 in different parts of the world. In addition to that we develop collaborative services like Whiteboard and Meeting Notes.
We are seeking a strong backend engineer to join our team and help implement our boldest ideas.
To succeed in this role you must have experience in:
5+ years experience in developing highly scalable, low latency, fault-tolerant distributed systems.
Implementation experience with Rest APIs.
Technical expertise in one of Java, Scala or Kotlin is required.
Knowledge of at least one public cloud architecture such as AWS is preferred.
Exposure to Spring framework, Spring boot & Microservices.
Well-versed in relational and NoSQL databases.
Responsibility
Build a scalable backend services architecture for the Webinar product.
Work closely with technical leadership working on services in Belmont and SPB.
Implement scalable distributed backend software that serves core business logic, authentication, and database design for webinars.
Design and implement secure APIs to enable other products to integrate these developed technologies in the team
Champion the continuous investigation of new technologies, and participate in a culture of innovation
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
5+ years experience in developing highly scalable, low latency, fault-tolerant distributed systems.
Implementation experience with Rest APIs.
Technical expertise in one of Java, Scala or Kotlin is required.
Exposure to Spring framework, Spring boot & Microservices.
Well-versed in relational and NoSQL databases.
Knowledge of at least one public cloud architecture such as AWS is preferred.
Knowledge of reactive, non-blocking programming.
Knowledge of Websockets, Pub-Sub, Presence & Notifications, Service Discovery, and Containerization is needed.
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Gitlab, Jenkins, GoCD
Knowledge of Service deployment and orchestration tools such as Elastic Beanstalk or ECS or EKS.
Knowledge of data lakes, and real-time dashboards with Kibana/Grafana.
Understanding of API Gateways, Amazon SNS/SQS, and PubNub.
Understanding of web application security using SSL certs, OAuth/JWT based authentication.
