VComply is seeking a highly skilled and passionate Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our dynamic and innovative team. As an SDET, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our software products through designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks and test suites. You will collaborate closely with software developers to identify and analyze defects and provide technical solutions to ensure a seamless and exceptional user experience.
Responsibilities
• Design and develop automated test scripts, frameworks, and tools to validate the functionality, performance, and security of our software applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define testing strategies, test plans, and test cases that align with product requirements and user scenarios.
• Execute test cases, analyze test results, and identify and report defects and performance bottlenecks using appropriate bug tracking tools.
• Work closely with developers to reproduce and isolate defects and provide detailed and actionable bug reports with steps to reproduce.
• Continuously enhance and maintain existing automated test suites and frameworks to improve test coverage and efficiency.
• Conduct root cause analysis for defects and performance issues and propose and implement corrective actions.
• Stay up to date with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends in software testing and quality assurance.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of proven experience and expertise in software testing and quality assurance, specifically in designing and developing automated test frameworks and test scripts.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C# and scripting languages like Shell or PowerShell.
• Strong understanding of software development processes, coding standards, and best practices.
• Experience working with any cloud providers like AWS, GCP or Azure etc
• Experience working with modern testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Robot Framework, JUnit, TestNG, or Cucumber.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git and continuous integration tools like Jenkins or Bamboo.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify, debug, and troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
• ISTQB or similar software testing certifications are a plus.
