The ideal candidate has a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or IT and wants to gain hands-on experience as a full-stack web developer. The candidate must be self-motivated, organised, comfortable with spoken English and have an eagerness to learn and grow. Responsibilities • Develop a web application using react.js and ruby-on-rails as a full-stack developer intern. • Study the existing functionality of the application and understand the business requirements • Develop web UI as per mock-ups given by the designer. • Implement the redux store and connect it to the back-end APIs. • Depending on your performance You may also get an opportunity to work with our AI team to incorporate a generative AI powered feature in this web application. Qualifications • First class in an engineering discipline, preferably Computer Science or IT. • In-depth knowledge of at least one strongly typed language such as Java, C#. • Good understanding of Javascript or other interpreted languages. Basic understanding of Typescript. • Basic understanding of React.js and web applications • Hands-on coding experience of JavaScript including ES6+ syntax, CSS, HTML, functional programming, and front-end languages. • Fluent in written and spoken English Nice to have • Experience with open source software, if you have any contributions, please mention them clearly with github profile • Knowledge of React fundamentals such as Virtual DOM, component lifecycle, and component state. • Experience working with REST APIs, document request models, offline storage, and third-party libraries. • Knowledge of user interface design and responsive designs.
