Camfil Power Systems is a leading supplier of air filtration and acoustic treatment systems for gas turbines with its headquarters for the Americas in Laval. Your primary function would consist of the following activities:
Develop and prototype small web applications based on user requests, ensuring solutions align with task processes and stakeholder needs.
Maintain and enhance existing React applications, implementing new features, optimizing performance, and ensuring seamless user experiences.
Conduct research and evaluate data sources, APIs, and tools to support R&D and deliver optimal solutions for projects.
Collaborate with project owners, end users, and developers to refine requirements, adjust solutions, and document processes effectively.
Manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, prioritizing work to meet deadlines and maintain high-quality deliverables.
Are you THE person we are looking for?
Proficiency in Python, HTML, JavaScript, and React (Preferred), with experience in data collection, processing, and presentation.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Strong research and problem-solving skills to explore tools, APIs, and develop innovative solutions.
Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written).
Self-driven, open-minded, and adaptable to flexible prototyping tasks.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
(Preferred) Familiarity with Git, cloud platforms, and UI/UX improvements.
Experience working on projects involving data retrieval and handling, such as pulling data from Excel files, APIs, or other sources.
Practical experience with Python projects, particularly those involving data or file processing.
Proven ability to solve problems through research, testing, and iterative development.
(Preferred) AI prompt engineering
