About the Role
This is a unique opportunity to join our team as a Software Development Manager and contribute to the development of our exciting product portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a small Agile team of software engineers, guiding them in the development, testing and deployment of products
Develop complex new features for geospatial products, used by a global customer base
Collaborate with stakeholders in the business to help define projects and direction
Work across a diverse codebase of C#, C++, Java, Go, C, Typescript and more
Ensure high quality software practices are followed in the team
Provide coaching and support to junior engineers, helping them progress their careers
Requirements
Qualifications in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent
Strong leadership skills, passionate about supporting more junior engineers progress their careers
Happiness to split your time between being hands on (software development) and leading a close knit team
Ability to turn user requirements into an effective engineering design
Strong programming skills in either C++ and C# for complex product development
