What you need to know about the role- You will be part of a team that provides operational support for critical batch and ETL workflows as well as software administration for key workload automation tools. The team also performs incident and triage support as needed to ensure that technical, operation and functional issues are remediated in alignment with associated SLAs and business requirements. Settlement platform is the one of the largest platforms with that is responsible of settling funds between PayPal and users funding instruments. Your day to day

In your day to day role you will:
• Develop scripting solutions for monitoring complex data flows and develop associated alerts and dashboards
• Support triage of real time production incidents as well as root cause analysis of batch jobs that introduce an undesirable affect in the production environment.
• Work with Job Scheduling team in development and provide training related to job standards and methods, escalation processes, and diagnostic approaches.
• Work with cross functional teams to develop API and application integration solutions

What Do You Need To Bring-
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Minimum 2 years working in a production 24 x 7 environment

• Proficient in job scheduling design, implementation, QA and operational support
• BMC Control-M and/or Airflow support
• Strong business process, analysis and problem diagnosis background.
• Experience with computing infrastructure technologies, such as networking, UNIX &
• Windows operating systems and Oracle databases
• Superior problem-solving skills with emphasis on quick problem resolution
• Python, CGI and Unix Scripting experience.
