Responsibilities
Our team plays a key leadership role in Azure by driving Linux and open-source technologies, solutions, and strategy. In this role, you will work closely with internal and external customers, coordinate design and coding across multiple projects, and partner with independent teams in disparate geographic locations. You will develop features that operate at scale, contribute to build, validation, deployment, reliability, and observability, and participate in on-boarding and reviews with engineering teams that develop and manage these products.
You will be working on research and development in cutting edge accelerations and optimizations to power future public and private clouds. You will define and push the limits of innovative technologies -- working with the latest hardware, the largest servers, and even larger datacenters.

Qualifications
Required qualifications:
• BS/MS in computer science or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience in Linux, distributed systems design, interactions between cloud technology layers and components, common dependencies at scale, and the code that defines infrastructures.
Preferred Qualifications
• Competent in architecting, designing, developing, debugging, and delivering products.
• Technical passion, avid learner, terrific problem-solving skills, and self-motivated.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with external teams (open source, partners, customers, standards)
• Demonstrated ability to handle complex cross-group projects.
• Expertise & interest in distributed build, automation, CI/CD and validation at scale.
• Experience in customer support (SDK, others), with track record on responsive, accountable, and targeted service
• Experience in bug analysis, as well as root-causing issues in running environments.
