Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic developer who is passionate about their craft to join in an exciting journey to build software that solves real-world problems for large businesses involving caching, extensibility, security, auditing, reporting, web services and more. You will be building software for massive scalability in a customizable, multi-tenant architecture that drives a high-volume web UI while providing fault tolerance and redundancy.
Responsibilities
• Drive daily work for a software development team
• Write and maintain code for a Java application
• Work both independently and also pairing with other developers.
• Write unit and integration tests
• Lead in code reviews
• Collaborate within frontend, backend, and data layer teams to determine solutions & break down work from high-level requirements into actionable tasks.
Requirements:
• BS or MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Experience Leading Development teams
• Solid commercial/enterprise-level software development experience
• Strong Test-driven development
• Passion for well-architected code and a willingness to work with and mentor others
• Good communications skills and the ability to work with a geographically distributed team
• High proficiency in performance-oriented Java, Linux/Tomcat/Apache
• Additional Skills: Gradle, GIT, Jenkins CI / GitHub Actions, JUnit, Cucumber, Groovy
• Familiarity with Soap APIs, Scrum, Kanban, and/or SAFe experience
• Amazon Web Services: Developer (Associate), Solutions Architect (associate), or DevOps Engineer (Professional) certificate-holders a plus
• High proficiency in ES 6+, MVC/MVVM, Highcharts/D3
