The ideal candidate understands the complexity of a fully scaled financial services architecture built on AWS and can make intuitive judgements on how to support it in a highly reliable and effective manner. In addition to addressing the need of the environment, you should be well familiar working in a product and platform development organizations. You’ll work alongside the best and the brightest engineering talent in the industry. You need to be dynamic, collaborative, and curious as we build new experiences, improve existing products, and develop distributed systems at a scale only a few companies can match.
Your day to day
In your day-to-day role, you will:
• Design, build and operate scalable solutions at the heart of PayPal
• Build and take operational responsibility of real time and near real time services used by millions of users
• Be a valued member of an autonomous, cross-functional agile team, contributing to design and code reviews.
