Job Description Summary: What you need to know about the role- We are currently seeking an experienced Workday Integration engineer within the PayPal Technology organization for supporting HR/Payroll Workday. The ideal candidate is an experienced technical engineer with strong knowledge of Workday Studio based integrations, EIB, connectors, Core Java, XSLT, DT’s, BIRT, Security and Business processes. The Engineer is responsible for development of Workday integrations and support HR/Payroll application as needed. Meet our team Paypal Employee Technology and Experience Team (ETX HR engineering) are responsible for end-to-end product development and service management, delivering technology and capabilities to HR functions like Workday, ServiceNow, Kronos, Cornerstone, Eightfold, Silkroad, Glint.

Your day to day
In your day to day role you will
Developing/enhancing Workday integrations
Mentors other engineers and developers by providing technical guidance
To be part of design sessions along with Tech Leads
Performing production support with providing timely responses to business
Supporting the team by getting trained in other HR applications like SNOW/CSOD/Kronos
Building analytical Workday reports
Thinking through OOTB solutions for complex requirements
What do you need to bring-
5+ years of Workday HCM integration or implementation or support experience
Should be able to create detailed system integration specifications, field mapping, and system process designs
Support experience with Workday Core HR, Compensation modules, Security and Business Processes
Good exposure to Workday Cloud Connectors, EIB, DT’s, XML/ XSLT, Core Java, BIRT and Workday Studio integrations
Ability to help resolve integration issues requiring expertise in the Workday solution
Comfortable with Agile practices
Technical knowledge on SNOW/Kronos/CSOD is an added advantage
