This position is for a Software Engineer to support training systems development. The successful candidate will be flexible, motivated, dedicated, detail-focused, team-oriented, and capable of multi-tasking.
This position is located in Hurlburt Field, FL at the Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) Training and Logistics (TLS), where you will have the opportunity to stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and tools.
The Work
As a member of our Software Engineer team, you will:
- Develop software solutions for flight simulators.
- Integrate new technologies into various systems.
- Support analysis of requirements, design, test and implementation of real-time software.

Desired Skills
- Software development in C/C++ in a Linux environment.
- Experience with JIRA and Confluence.
- Continuous integration/Continuous deployment (CI/CD) experience with Gitlab.
- Experience with Vue Java Script (VueJS).
- Experience with Fortran and/or Ada.
- Automation with Ansible.
- Experience with any of the following: flight simulation, aerodynamics modelling, weapons, avionics, electronic warfare, radar.
- Active DoD Secret Clearance.
