Position Description
ParTech, Inc. is seeking Software Engineers to join our Brink Point-of-Sale (POS) software development team. This is a technical contributor role. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in software development with a passion for continuing to build upon that.

● Understand technical requirements and write high-quality clean code governed by the standard principles and best practices of software development
● Quickly learn the domain of work
● Write highly extendable code
● Able to think from the customer point of view and incorporate the same in day to day work
● Work with the cross-functional teams to ensure consistent, high-quality deliveries
● Perform peer design and code reviews and provide feedback on areas that need improvement
● Maintain highly cohesive and collaborative relationships with team members and other coworkers
● Maintain a high degree of confidentiality concerning PAR’s and customer’s information
What We’re Looking For
● Minimum of two (2) years of software development experience with C# and .NET
● Hands-on knowledge of SQL and writing optimized queries with any relational database
● Experience with Restful APIs is preferred
● Experience with unit testing frameworks and practices of test-driven development is a plus
● Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure is a plus
● Excellent debugging skills
● A pragmatic approach to solving problems with off-the-shelf tools
● Self-starter who requires minimal supervision
● Passionate about building next-generation technologies, enjoy fast-paced environments, and loves to code
● Bachelors in Computer Science/Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience
● Familiarity and comfort with agile software development principles and practices
