Snowflake Developer - - Finance Applications
Snowflake developer will be working with an Engineering team in an Agile environment. Responsibilities include delivering quality solutions through analyzing, coding and testing. This involves partnering with architects to drive solutions, establishing clear requirements.
Through a combination of strong business understanding, solid analytical and problem-solving skills and excellent interviewing and facilitating techniques, you will lead the discovery and conceptual design work required to translate business vision into solutions and features.
How You Will Contribute
• Hands on development
• Work within a collaborative, Agile environment
• Assume independent responsibility and work effectively within a team
• Provide Snowflake processing subject matter expertise to projects and implements industry best ETL technologies to satisfy client requirements
• Design and develop optimal code to maintain exceptional performance in processing large volumes of data across diverse sources
• Gather and translate business requirements into analytical applications
• Collaborate with other project members and drive the development of BI initiatives
• Design, develop, and test ETL solutions including modeling data warehouse metadata and automating data loading processes
• Establish ETL environments according to project requirements
• Experience in data migration.
• Design and implement an efficient migration process to move ETL objects from development to test and production environments
• Understand database design, programming concepts, data modeling and framework management
What You’ll Need To Succeed
• Hands-on experience creating Snowflake procedures/UDFs.
• Experience in building Enterprise DW/Data Lake
• Must have experience with Snowflakes Snow SQL. Querying Snowflake using SQL
• Experience in Implementing ETL pipelines within and outside of a data warehouse
• Experience with writing functional and technical specifications, testing, and training.
• Must have experience with cloud technologies like AWS.
• Experience with Snowflake Best Practices deployments
• 7+ years of experience with snowflake development.
Must Haves
Top 3 skill sets/technology required:
• Technology platform working in: Snowflake , AWS
• Data migration, data share Experience
• Data Modeling and Performance Tuning Expert
• Reconciliation process
Education Needs/Certifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer science or equivalent.
• Certifications in Snowflake is a plus
