Skills Required - Angular or React
Required Knowledge and Skills:
Demonstrates thorough abilities and/or a proven record of success as a team leader:
• Understanding of C#, ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, .NET Framework 3.5 and later using Visual Studio 2013 (or later);
• Showcasing proficiency in SQL Server
• Utilizing .NET MVC and Entity Framework Development and Design, Microsoft SQL Development Design and reviewing of the enterprise scale applications
Preferred Knowledge/Skills:
Demonstrates extensive knowledge and/or a proven record of success in the following areas:
• Utilizing established development tools, guidelines, and conventions to create software solutions using technologies such as; ASP, .NET, SQL Server, HTML, CSS, C#, and Entity Framework;
• Possessing experience with front-end web development frameworks (React and/or Angular preferred)
• Understanding of Object Oriented Programming and principles and the agile programming methodology;
• Utilizing Microsoft Application Lifecycle Management using Azure Devops; and,
• Understanding of the software development life-cycle. Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success assisting on client engagements or enterprise-wide projects and working in a fast paced, agile environment, including the following areas:
• Utilizing Git for source control in Microsoft Azure Devops, including working in highly structured branched environment merging code from one branch to another
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the following activities:
• Developing fullstack features across a modern cloud technology stack
• Understanding logical architectures for web applications using best practice design principles
• Actively participating in daily team stand-ups, workshops, and online technical forums.
• Applying software development process guidelines to prepare design documentation.
• Utilizing CI/CD workflows using build and release automation.
• Application development based on screens, documented requirements, and user stories
• Assisting with third level support by driving the resolution of application defects and supporting a response to major application incidents.
• Coaching other developers and sharing your knowledge and expertise within the team.
Skills and Experience
• Ideally 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in application development.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or other technical discipline (BE, BTech, MCA).
The ideal candidate has experience in domains including:
• Designing and developing server side applications using ASP.NET and ASP.NET Core and Microsoft Azure
• Designing and developing web applications using technologies including: Express (Node.Js), React.Js, CSS3, HTML5.
• Applying event-driven, asynchronous programming concepts and best practice application design principles.
• Development on microservices architectures and containerisation using Docker.
• Developing asynchronous integration and messaging systems (e.g. RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus, etc.).
• Database design with SQL and noSQL and data structures
• Experience designing, developing and automated unit tests.
• Strong understanding of source code version control, including the use of Git repositories. (Experience with Azure DevOps would be an advantage)
• Understanding continuous integration and continuous deployment processes.
• Exceptional problem-solving and critical thinking skills, and applying an analytical mindset and outstanding attention to detail.
• Working efficiently with remote teams using collaboration technology.
• Experience working on projects that follow an Agile Scrum methodology.
• Identifying issues to solve complex problems as part of a team.
• Leading small development teams and fostering strong working relationships.
• Working under pressure and meeting demanding deadlines.
• Applying written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with colleagues.
• Taking a proactive approach to resolving problems.
