Job Designation: Webmethods Developer / Technical Consultant
Job Location: India
Job Purpose:
To lead system analysis, design, development, implementation, technical documentation, testing, user support (including technical troubleshooting of complex n-tier enterprise systems), maintenance and vendor support of banking applications, internet banking system, non-banking applications and interfaces so as to ensure that the IT service is delivered effectively and efficiently in compliance with policies, procedures, standards and guidelines and business needs and business processes are automated and integrated optimally.
Job Responsibilities:
To manage Project Delivery in banking Business Applications.
To manage Change Delivery in banking Business Applications
To manage production support and other technical problems in banking business Applications efficiently
Assist team lead in strategic/tactical issues.
Qualifications and skills required:
Education level
Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Masters in Computer Applications + Additional professional certifications.
Professional Qualifications
PMP/COBIT/ITIL Certification is helpful but not essential.
Work Experience
● Banking industry experience is a definite advantage.
● Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience in analysis, design, development, testing, release and trouble-shooting across operating systems (AIX/Unix and Windows) and proficient in the following applications
o T24 Core banking system
o Knowledge of ESB, system integration, enterprise architecture and various other industry standards such as SOA.
o Working knowledge of atleast one of the major ESB systems such as Webmethods , IBM MQ, Fiorano etc.
o Proficiency in ISO8583 messages and in depth knowledge of Debit/Credit card transactional systems and payment standards
o Foundational knowledge of TOGAF
o ITIL, COBIT, PMP certifications are definitive advantages.
● Experience in supporting third-party application and working with the vendor based on SLA
● Thorough knowledge of all key elements of an IT department
● Formal exposure to SDLC techniques
● Exposure to unit/module/integration testing
● Exposure to documentation skills
● Familiarity with Change Management, Configuration Management, Problem Management Procedures
