Job Overview: As a Software engineer of R& D team, you will have to work closely with R&D team. Understand the requirements, design & code the features in Network Operating System NOS based on requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
· Knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, L2, L3 protocols, MPLS, BGP EVPN, MCAST) and networking devices.
· Experience in management protocols like Netconf, CLI, SNMP, RESTCONF, NETCONF preferred.
· Good coding & Debugging skills in C/Python/Golang.
· Hand-on experience on SoNiC (Software for Open Networking in the Cloud) is preferred.
· Hands on experience on Docker and Kubernetes.
· Good understanding of Commercial/Opensource Network operating System ecosystem.
Qualifications:
· Hand-on experience on FRR (Free Range Routing) stack is preferred.
· 1 - 5 years experience in networking protocols.
· Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
· Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
