Job Brief
We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer, who will play a key role in the development and implementation of innovative software solutions.
Qualifications:
Graduate or industry-recognized diploma/ practical experience
Strong proficiency with Oracle SQL & PLSQL. Ability to understand and write queries and procedures.
Ability to write basic UNIX/ Linux commands.
Fundamentals of DBMS, Data Warehousing Concepts.
Good Analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Identify and understand customer requirements.
Implement ORBIT BI and configure the application.
Using internal tools and plugins, convert complex Discoverer reports to ORBIT when needed.
Create custom reports and dashboards using ORBIT UI or write SQL/ PLSQL code on Orbit Analytics/ AirQuery.
Work cross-functionally with teams (e.g., DevOps, Support).
For any newly discovered areas, help to create knowledge articles/ document artifacts, etc.
Bonus:
Knowledge of web servers is an added advantage.
Knowledge of Oracle EBS ERP or other reporting tools like OBIEE and Oracle Discoverer is an added advantage.
