Job Description
The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality applications. They will also be responsible for designing and implementing testable and scalable code. Responsibilities 2-5 years of experience in Java OR C++ development including multi-threading. Experience in Fixed Income, Equities, or E-Trading. Experience in Bloomberg or ION MMI. Experience in supporting ION Marketview, ION PXE, ION gateways, and custom pricing components. Extensive experience working in ION technology MMI/SysAdmin, TPRM, D2C, and D2D workflow. ION technologies, familiarity with ION API, component installation, and configuration, Core java Experience developing low latency applications, experience working in the Fixed Income space, particularly in rates and credit, as well as good general market knowledge. Working knowledge of databases Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or an equivalent combination of education and experience Excellent written and verbal communication skills
