Software Engineer
Watford - Hybrid Working
£50,000-£55,000
I’m currently working with a global IoT service provider who are based out of Watford and looking to add a Software Engineer to their growing team. The business has been going for over 25 years and provide a variety of leading products across sectors like Security, Retail, Telecare, Health & Safety and Environmental Services. As the IoT industry evolves, the business are embarking on lots of new and exciting projects for this year which has provided plenty of growth opportunities across all areas.
Along with their core product range within hardware and telecommunications, they provide solutions and services which knit everything together and this is where this role comes in. We are looking for an experienced developer who can pick the right tools and hit the ground running.
Office working requirements: Three times a week in the office.
Essential Skills:
• C#, .Net Framework or Core
• OO Programming, SOLID Principles
• Experience creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Confident with Testing frameworks - TDD/BDD
• Any type of cloud experience – Azure would be preference
• Fully confident with the SDLC
Desired Skills:
• Microservices
• PostgreSQL, Redis
• Additional languages like Python
• BSc in Computer Science or equivalent
Benefits/Salary:
• Up to £55,000
• 25 Days Holiday – rising to 30
• 6% Annual Bonus - up to £3,300
