Our team builds NextGen Storage Monitoring, reporting, analytics and troubleshooting solution on various Dell EMC products in Unstructured Data Storage domain. Some of the products for which we are currently building this solution is Dell EMC's PowerScale scale-out NAS platform. PowerScale storage solutions drive unique business and economic value for customers by maximizing the performance of their mission critical applications, workflows, and processes.It enables enterprises and research organizations world-wide to manage massive and rapidly growing amounts of file-based data in a highly-scalable, easy-to-manage, and cost effective way.

What you'll achieve

As a Software Engineer, you will develop, test and automate the Storage monitoring solution for customers of Dell Storage products. You will be responsible to develop, test & maintain sophisticated systems and software, work with product managers and other technologists to build software solutions. You will have the challenge to understand the feature and then write tests and automate the features for the product. You will work to build a world class product by ensuring quality, scalability, performance, reliability, usability etc. You will work in a Scrum model to collaborate with team members, include across geos and strive to become a subject matter expert in the key areas and components of the product

You will:

Participate in the preparation, review and evaluation of software/storage requirements and specifications
Prepare written specifications for tasks of varied complexity from verbal requirements
Use defined software lifecycle methodologies, and work in Agile Scrum model.
Review and implement test strategies for software products, and delivery quality software in each development iteration.

Essential Requirements
• Experience: Degree in computer science with '2 to 5 Years' of Software Development, Testing and Automation framework experience in enterprise class projects.
• Hands-on programming experience - Python, Selenium, Automation experience (to write automation for UI, DB, API and backend)
• Experience in Unix/Linux, Kubernetes, Microservices, Web Services, DevOps (Jenkins), Databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, timeseries databases) and testing tools.
• Experience in Code review skills, white box testing, writing high quality test
