Overview:
Seismic is looking for Machine Learning Engineer and Data Scientist co-op intern to join our Engineering team! If you’re working toward a career in building products in Machine Learning and AI software development post grad, Seismic has an opportunity to introduce you to the fast paced, innovative world of Enterprise SaaS product development. We pride ourselves on our knowledge sharing focused environment and work in highly collaborative and cross-functional teams. In partnership with your mentor and team, you’ll be building solutions that will drive direct business impact and shape our long-term technical vision with a high-quality bar.
We’re looking for hard-working individuals with an academic focus on Machine learning, Data Science and software engineering to join the Product & Engineering team for a PEY of 12 months starting this fall 2026.
What you'll be doing::
Develop, deploy and optimize models to enable AI capabilities and improve user experience
Collaborate with a team of Machine learning, software and product experts to bring your model from idea to the product through micro-service-based systems
Work in an Enterprise SaaS platform in an Agile, cloud-based environment, and follow and ensure best engineering practices
Utilize and be exposed to wide range of cutting edge technologies:
Front end: React, Typescripts, Graph QL, JavaScript
Back End: C#/.NET, Python, Kubernetes, Docker, Apache Kafka
Cloud: Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, IBM
DevOps: Terraform, Kubernetes, Ansible, Jenkins, Python
AI/ML: LLMs (Azure, Google, etc.), Vertext AI, Azure AI, IBM watsonx, huggingface, open source models
What you bring to the team::
Graduating from a BA/BS/MS program in Machine Learning, AI, Data Science, or Computer Science
Excellent interpersonal skills, strong partnership and collaboration skills, along with a desire to both learn and teach
High energy, enthusiasm, and ambition to grow in your career
Good organizational skills and attention to detail
Understanding of wide range of technologies in AI, Generative AI, data science, Computer vision, NLP, Python libraries, ML cloud services, and data tools
