Job Description:
Experience: 2 to 5 years
Work Location: International Tech Park, Whitefield - Bangalore
Work Mode: Hybrid
Must Have: Android App Development, Core Java, Kotlin, SQLite and Flutter (Good to have)
Roles & Responsibilities:
• As an Android Developer, will be involved in all aspects of development playing a critical role in the design, planning, development, and deployment and help to develop best practices for future development.
• Working directly with developers and product managers to conceptualize, build, test and release products.
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
• Deliver across the entire app life cycle, design, build, deploy, test, release to app stores and support.
• Drive adoption of best practices in code health, testing, and maintainability.
• Play an active role in team's technical design choices, code reviews and documentation.
Mandatory Skills:
• Deep understanding of Android development SDK and strong problem-solving skills
• Good understanding of Kotlin & Core Java, Android Architecture Components, Dagger 2/Hilt, MVVM architecture
• Good grasp of algorithms, design patterns, memory management, network interaction, debugging, concurrency, source control management (git) and multi-threading in Android
• Hands on experience with Android’s debugging, app security and performance optimization tools.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
• Optimizing performance for the apps and keep up to date on the latest industry trends in the mobile technologies.
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.
• Proficiency with UI/UX paradigms to build elegant user experiences.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
• Good communication and collaboration skills to be able to work in a fast paced and distributed environment.
• Experience analyzing a feature in production using analytics and experiments.
• Fast learner: Thrive on learning new technologies and don't believe in one-size-fits-all solutions.
Good to Have Skills:
• Experience in TDD, unit testing, continuous integration or Jenkins would be an extra plus
