In this role, you will:
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and editors to understand software requirements based on business goals and user needs
• Architect, build, integrate, and maintain complex software systems and applications that drive our web and mobile platforms
• Design flexible and scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS to support AI/ML applications and large spikes in traffic
• leverage tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines to optimize development and deployment
• Implement robust data pipelines, APIs, databases, and other back-end systems to unlock analytics and automation
• Identify and resolve performance issues and technical debt in existing code bases
• Stay on top of the latest technologies and industry best practices, especially in AI, machine learning and data science
• Coach and mentor other engineers to level up skills and knowledge
Requirements:
• 2+ years professional experience in software engineering and development
• Proficiency with Python andmodern web development stacks
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs
• Knowledge of AI, ML, NLP and related frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch
• Understanding of cloud platforms like AWS
• CS degree or equivalent experience
