Join our XMarkets team as a Software Engineer, where you’ll play a critical role in building and maintaining the software that powers the interfaces around our core trading system. This is a hands-on engineering position focused on designing robust APIs, ensuring seamless system integrations, and supporting real-time data pipelines that keep markets moving.
Key Responsibilities:
Design scalable and efficient message schemas and data structures for both internal and external APIs
Build and maintain RESTful APIs that interface with the trading system
Develop and support REST clients for integrating with third-party systems such as registries
Manage and enhance Kafka-based pipelines for streaming market data and trade instructions
Write and maintain comprehensive integration tests to ensure the reliability and performance of API components
Tech Stack & tools:
Languages: TypeScript, Rust (or C++ with willingness to transition to Rust)
Technologies: REST, Kafka, FIX (optional)
Frameworks/Tools: Modern web technologies, integration testing frameworks

Base Salary
Compensation for this role will vary among specific regions due to geographic differentials in the labor market, actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, knowledge, education and training. Compensation for this role is expected to be as follows:
$140,000 -$160,000
