Job Description
Scion is seeking a skilled Software Engineer I - ASPX on behalf of our client. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on web application development, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and build custom ASPX components within an existing framework. The ideal candidate will have experience with ASPX development, JavaScript, and Microsoft Transact-SQL.

• Flexible Hybrid Environment
• Open Ended 18 Month Contract
• $60 hourly, 40 hrs a week

What You Will Be Doing
• Collaborate with the development team and key stakeholders to design, build, and test new ASPX components.
• Participate in an agile workflow, including estimating project timelines, attending daily standups, and engaging in code reviews.
• Maintain code integrity, organization, and best practices.
What You Will Need
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
• 2-4 years of experience developing ASPX pages for web applications.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/ES6, jQuery, and HTML5.
• Strong understanding of relational database models and experience with Microsoft Transact-SQL.
• Experience with VB.NET is a plus.
• High energy, enthusiasm, and a proactive approach to success.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a creative and inquisitive mindset.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be available to work Eastern Standard Time hours (+:00 AM – 5:00 PM).
• Ability to commute to the Danbury, CT office.
